Susan Paulette (Slade) Lanier

   Susan Paulette Lanier, 72, of Theodore, AL, passed away peacefully at her home on November 1, 2025. She was born in Mobile, AL, on December 3, 1952, to the late Frances Slade and Hattie Lindsey. 

   She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samantha Lanier, and survived by her husband of 57 years, Johnnie Lanier Sr.; one son, Johnnie Lanier Jr. (Samantha); two daughters, Katherine Johns and Melissa Jenkins; nine grandchildren, Kristin Brock (Daniel), Charlie Jenkins (Jessica), Jacob Jenkins (Madison), Lucas Johns, Daniel Johns, Raymond Wright, Patricia Wright, Jessica Saxon, Joseph Saxon; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special niece, Dianne Williams (Billy).

    A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
