Thelma Kay (Weaver) Trehern

    Thelma Kay Weaver Trehern, age 67, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother joined her siblings and parents in Heaven on August 16, 2025, after a long, hard battle with congestive heart failure.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford (Sam) and Rose (Coffman) Weaver; siblings, Sanford (Bug) Weaver, Marie Weaver, Leala (Mitty) Hare, Robert (Gavin) Weaver and Melvin Weaver.

    Born July 3, 1958, Thelma spent her life welcoming others with kindness, warmth, and quite a bit of sass. She married her best friend and love of her life, Johnny Gaston Trehern Sr. in 1974, and spent the next fifty years building their beautiful family. Three children, Johnny (Beverly)Trehern Jr, Rachel (Derrick) Thornton, and Justin (Sherry) Trehern. Four grandchildren, Kaytlin Thornton, Haley Thornton, Alyssa Trehern, and Kamdon Trehern. She also leaves behind a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends all who adored her. She is irreplaceable and will be deeply and sorely missed.

    A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A chapel service will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by interment at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
