Tommy Gene Dearman Sr.

    Tommy Gene Dearman Sr., 80, of Chunchula Alabama, passed away on November 25, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1943, to the late Otis Dearman and Vera Tew Dearman.

    He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Dearman, stepdaughter; Saundra (Joey) Dearman, step grandson; Aaron Vallier.

    He is survived by his two children; Charlotte Dearman Matheney, Tommy Gene Dearman Jr., three stepchildren; Roxanne (Tom) Brinkman, Yvonne Vallier, Thomas (Stephanie) Vallier, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Tommy graduated from Mississippi State where he played football for the bulldogs. He had a passion for football, and his hobbies included fishing and watching western movies. He coached football at Theodore High School for many years before retiring and running a nursing home with his wife.

    He will be greatly missed by all of his children, siblings, and family members that loved him dearly.
