Vanessa Hayes Harley went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 25, 2025. She was a woman deeply loved by her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Clifford Hayes and Gene Hayes; her sister, Shirley Lyles; her brother, Jeff Hayes, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Sam Lyles and James Wheeler.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Carl Harley (Bill); her daughters, Kerri Bryan and Brandi Bryan; her grandchildren, Courtney Cole, Victor McDonald, Kirk McDonald, Destiny Pilkington, Makayla Pilkington (Kolby Dixon), and Zane Thompson; and her great-grandson, Rowen Dixon.
She is also survived by her sisters, Anice Wheeler, Danette Dearmon (Roger), and Gail Waters (Rusty), along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Vanessa faithfully served alongside her husband as the Pastor’s wife at Calvary Outreach Ministries. She loved her church family and served them with grace, humility, and a servant’s heart. Her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering faith left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Vanessa lived her life as a reflection of Christ’s love, always putting others before herself.
Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, rejoicing in the presence of her Savior.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
