Vernon Earl Hastings, Jr.

   Vernon Earl Hastings, Jr. 53, a resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence. Vernon is predeceased in death by his father, Vernon Earl Hastings, Sr., sister, Patricia Ann Hastings, brother, Kenneth Hastings grandparents, John and Hazel Hastings and Alfred and Hessie Rutherford.

   Vernon is survived by a son; Vernon E. Hastings III (Buddy), mother; Etta Mae Hastings, siblings; Donald Ray Hastings, Cliff Davis, Jeff Davis, Gary Davis (Venus), Rebecca (Wesley) Hughes, Hazel (Bob) Linke, Sandra (Jerry) Turner, Sherry (Elroy) Chestang, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

   Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM from Valhalla Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale, AL.
