Vicki Joan McConnell

    Vicki Anderson McConnell, age 50, passed away January 4, 2025, at a local medical facility. She was born on December 28, 1974. She is preceded in death by her mother Sandra Anderson.

    She is survived by her husband of 27 years Thomas McConnell, her children; Thomas Cameron McConnell, Emilie Jordyn McConnell, her brother; Daniel Anderson and his wife Beth Anderson, her brother-in-law; David Fleming and his wife Marita Fleming, her father; Cameron Anderson, her aunt; Danice Mimms, her father-in-law; Thomas McConnell and his wife Freda McConnell and many cousins and nephews and nieces. This list could not be complete without thanking her elite support group Nicole Cohron, Tammy Estes, Sharron Torphy and Terry Wardrop.

    Vicki is a faithful member of Living Hope Church in Saraland Alabama. She spent many years as the church secretary, but her accomplishments also include singing in the choir, bible quizzing, and starting back up the ladies prayer meetings on Saturday mornings. She will be missed by many but the memories and the legacy she leaves behind will be talked about for years. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to the benevolent fund at Living Hope. This fund helps those in need and if you know Vicki she was all about helping others.

    A visitation will be held at Living Hope Church on Thursday January 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a chapel service starting at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
