Violet Kay Forister

Violet Kay Forister was born on November 10, 1947, a native of Wetumpka, AL. She was a long-time resident of Eight Mile, AL, was the first lady of Trinity Faith Bible Church, and passed peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Her passions were her family, cooking, serving the Lord, her church, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Mattie Baker; brother, Harold Baker; sister, Rosanell Sullivan & sister, Shirley Brown.

Mrs. Forister survived by her husband John Forister, her seven children Troy (Carolyn) Forister, Sybrina (Ples) Newbill, Rodney (Amanda) Forister, Amber (Chip) Trawick, Michael (Ashley) Forister, Bobby (DeAnna) Ladner, & Stephaine (Gabe) Cobb; 25 grandchildren, Jonathan Forister, Randall Forister, Tray Forister, Noel Forister, Trent Forister, Cole Forister, Brandon Summerlin, Paige Nicolaidis, Chad Summerlin, Mariah Cruz, Daniel Newbill, Josh Newbill, Alexis Byrd, Shaun Forister, Shane Forister, Christin Howell, Kaitlin Byrd, Isaiah Moorman, Kassidy Stringfellow, Landon Forister, Anastasia Ladner, Chloe Jordan, Gabe Ladner, Jaqueline Ladner & Zane Ladner; 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, & a host of church family and friends.

Special thanks to her great niece Stephanie Tubberville for her care and kindness in her final loving days.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Trinity Faith Bible Church. Pre-service viewing at 11 am. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Trinity Faith Bible Church. Interment will be immediately following the service at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
