Voncile Williams Pipkins Miller

   Voncile departed this life at the age of 94 on Thursday, October 28, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born in Wilmer, Alabama to Charles C. and Willie Mae Tuberville Williams; she was the second born child of twelve. She retired after thirty six years from the Mobile County Sheriff's Office as a School Traffic Officer at Wilmer Elementary School. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Semmes, Alabama.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jay Lee Pipkins Sr., second husband, J.T. Miller and her four brothers and three sisters.

   She is survived by her three children, Patty (Ronnie) Miller, Karen (Joe) Hocklander, and Jay L. (Lynne) Pipkins. She was affectional known as "Ninnie" to her eight grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Bud) Long, Leslie (Tony) Resa, Lacy (Aaron) Willy, Jason (Bridget) Young, Rusty (Angel) Young, Laura Anne (Cole) Wilson, Livia (Ben) Lingo, Jay Lee Pipkins III (Elizabeth); fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her two sisters, Mary-Spivey and Noni Boehme and two sister0-in-laws, Shirley Williams and Elizabeth Williams and numerous nieces, nephews family and friends.  The family would like to thank her three loving and outstanding care givers Christy Lacy, Christie Flowers, and Tracy Kidd for the care and attention to her for the last two years.

   There will be a private family and close friends graveside service on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lott Cemetery, off Lott Road in the Georgetown Community. Her pallbearers will be Jay Lee Pipkins III, Jason Young, Rusty Young, Coty Long, Trevor Poiroux, Tony Resa, and honorary pallbearer Bud Long.
