Waylon Ray Allen Mitchell

    In loving memory of Waylon Ray Allen Mitchell. He was born on September 21, 2024, to his loving parents Tracie Mitchell and Zachary Martin of Wilmer, Alabama.

    He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Ray Seibert, Ernie (Pamela) Mitchell, Marsha Johnson; cousins, Courtney Bice, Atashia Bice, Ariel Bice, and Adrianna Taylor.

    Waylon is survived by his parents, Tracie Mitchell and Zachary Martin; father, Daniel Johnson; brother, Stanley Johnson; grandparents, Allen Mitchell, Kelly Bice, Betty Martin, and Vicky Johnson; great grandparents, Pamela Seibert and Bill Ferenczi; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    He was a remarkable baby boy with a handsome smile that warmed everybody’s hearts. It was heartbreaking to see him go so soon but he was too precious to stay down on earth with us. His parents loved Waylon and wanted him to be something great and better than anything they have ever imagined.

    Waylon loved Zachary more than anything in this world besides his mama. They spent every moment with him, from the time the sun rose to the time it set and all through the night. They went from two kids to two wonderful parents. God gave him to us early because he knew he'd need him up in heaven sooner than we were ready for. We will always be grateful for the time God granted us with such a pure soul.

    A visitation will be held on Monday March 10, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. –12:00 P.M. followed by a chapel service at 12:00 P.M. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
