Wesley Beech, Sr.

   Wesley Beech, Sr. passed away peacefully November 12, 2021 in Mobile. He was born December 30, 1940 in Leakesville, Ms. He was the son of Horace and Martha Beech. Wesley graduated from Leakesville, High School, Class of 1958. In 1960, he married Margaret Botter in Mobile and they had recently celebrated their 61st anniversary.  Wesley was employed as a terminal manager in the trucking industry for over 50 years. He was a loyal member of City Church of Mobile, where he served as a deacon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, William Beech, Lamar Beech, Karl Allen Beech and Lavon Beech; sisters, Gladys Beech Cottingham and Liza Beech Gray.

   Survivors, in addition to his wife Margaret Botter Beech, include son, Wesley Beech, Jr, his wife Joy Beech, daughter, Melissa Beech Atchison, her husband, Jae Atchison; two sisters, Ruth Beech Grimes, Annette Beech Freitas; five grandchildren, Wesley Beech, III, Taylor Beech (Derril), Kayla Atchison Payne (Rob), Tyler Atchison (Kayleigh) and Colin Atchison (Madison); nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

   Visitation will be 10:30 am -12:00 pm Tuesday, November 16 2021 at Mount Pisgah United Pentecostal Church, 331 MS 594, Leakesville, MS 39451. The funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 pm. Pastor John Di Quattro of City Church of Mobile will officiate. Wesley will be buried at Mount Pisgah UPC Cemetery.
