William Earl Avera

William Earl Avera Sr., 81, of Grand Bay, Alabama was born on January 16, 1943, and passed away on September 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Patricia Avera.

He is survived by his son; William (Beth) Avera, daughter; Christina (Ricky) Grandquest, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

William worked at Ingalls Shipyard where he retired. He loved Alabama football and fishing. He adored his family and loved keeping his grandchildren every weekend.

Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Monday September 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Serenity Memorial Gardens, Theodore Alabama.
