William Francis Vickery, Jr., known to family and friends as “Frankie”, passed away at his home in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on June 24, 2025. He was 49 years old. Frankie was preceded in death by his father, William F. Vickery, Sr.; a sister, Angela Faith Vickery Bowman and a brother, Roger “Don” Booker, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy Lynn Vickery; his son, William F. “Will” Vickery III; his mother, Faith Luna Koppersmith; one remaining sister, Marla Renee Booker; two brothers, Jason (Tosha) Vickery and Rocky (Kelsey) Vickery; sister-in-law/brother-in-law, Theresa and Bobby Edwards; brother-in-law, Josh Bowman and many other relatives: cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Frankie was a hard-working, devoted family man and a loving husband and father. He was known for his good-natured personality and his ability to solve most any problem that came his way. He worked in the shipbuilding and repair industry most of his life and his career eventually led him and his family to Wisconsin in 2023 with an exciting career building luxury yachts. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, growing plants and even raising chickens, goats and ducks. He also enjoyed hunting and listening to contemporary Christian music.
A visitation will be held on Monday July 7, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
